Let's continue:

Preposition " SU ": means "on" or "in"

sulla tavola	on (in) the table
sull'automobile	in the car
sul tetto	on (in) the cealing

Preposition " FRA / TRA ": is translated as " between" and as a expression of time.

tra la mia casa e la tua	between my house and yours
tra poco	soon, shortly

The prepositions " A " and " SU " follow the same rules that we have already studided with the preposition " IN " when it goes before an article:

alla mamma	to the mother
al padre	to the father
sull'albero	on the tree
sulla strada	on the street
