I saluti en Italiano

Buongiorno!

Today we are going to study how to say hi in Italian.

Ciao
That's the easiest way to say hi in Italian.  You can say Ciao at no matter what hour of the day and it's used both to say hi or goodbye.

-Ciao, Bruno
- Oh ciao Paola!

However Ciao is an informal way to say hi in Italian.  You can only use it with your friends or with young people.

For the rest use this table to guide you

I pronomi personali soggetto

Let's start studying Italian.  In this very first lesson I wanted to start teaching you the subjects in Italian:

io
I
tu
You
lui
  lei
He
She

noi
We
voi
You (pl)
loro
They (pl)

Try to have fun pronouncing the subjects in Italian.  At this point don't think about the verbs, thought you can start looking for some of them in your dictionary.

In Italian, it's not necessary to write the subject in a sentence.  If you know how to skeap Spanish or Portuguese for example, this will be so much easier for you to understand because we do the same in our languages.

If not, you just need to see the verb to recognize who is the subject:

IO SONO ITALIANO
 (I AM ITALIAN)
=
SONO ITALIANO

If you have any doubts or comments/ suggestions, don't hesitate to write me.  Have a nice day and enjoy your Italian!
