Che lingue parla?

Buongiorno

Come stai?

  • Che lingue parla?

That's an interesting question you could make or answer when you come to Italy and it means, What language do you speak?

It could be really helpful to start a conversation and also to recognize someone who also speaks English.

The answer would be

  • Io parlo ___________
I speak __________

Now it's time to know what to answer.

In the following lesson I am going to teach some languages in Italian and the article you have to use for each one.

Questo e Questa

Ciao

Today we are going to learn two new words in Italian: Questo and Questa.

Questo and Questa are Italian words for "This is" and you use it when you are presenting a friend.

We have already practised how to greet someone and how to say that it's nice to meet someone.

The only difference is that you use Questo for males and Questa for females

Now you know how to introduce someone:

Ciao Danny, Come stai?
Benissimo.  E tu?
Anch'io, grazie.  Senti, questa è Carla, una mia amica francese.  E questo è Danny, un mio amico.
Ciao!
Piacere
Sai, Carla parla molto bene l'italiano
Ah, sì? Io invece purtroppo non parlo il francese!

Sa Bene?

I hope you keep working on your Italian.

Arrivederla
