Making questions in Italian

Ciao!

Come stai?
Today we are going to learn a little bit more about the Italian Grammar.  We have already made some sentences both in affirmative and negative way.

Now I am going to show you how to make questions in Italian.

Well how?

The answer is really easy: just in the same order you write the sentence as a statement.  You don't have to add an extra word (like do/does in english) or change the order of verb+ subject.

Lavori in un ufficio
(You work in an office)

Lavori in un ufficio?
(Do you work in an office)

Simple as that.
Then what's the difference?

Simply.  You identify if it's a question or an affirmative sentence just by looking at the intonation of the sentence.

Same applies with negative sentences

Voi non leggete
(You don't read)

Voi non leggete?
(Don't you read)
