Today we are going to start studying the adjectives in Italian.

Male adjectives in Italian generally end with an o and female adjectives end with an a

Italian	English
Bello / a	Beautiful (m/f)
Alto / a	Tall (m/f)
Buono / a	Good (m/ f)
Tedesco / a	German (m/f)

Adjectives that end with an e, like gentile (nice) don’t change with the genre:

Italian	English
Un(a) uomo (donna) gentile	A nice man/woman
Un té molto dolce	A very sweet tea
Uno(a) bambino(a) inglese	An english boy/girl
